“When it comes to corporate well-being I am very keen on experiential approaches. These sessions are not just about writing things down and forgetting them. Every single session will give you something practical, that only takes a few minutes.”
Corporate Well-Being Training
In this section, you can read an introduction to how I work. I specialise in corporate well-being with a twist!
You won’t learn just a few breathing techniques (though there will be some in there). I teach engaging practical psychology skills to reduce stress and increase confidence in all areas of work using imagery, and self-hypnosis. Over the 15 years of teaching I’ve see thinking shift from “hypnosis is a fringe stage trick” to “this is changing my life” within a very short space of time.
Additionally, with my background I can build you exceptional programmes to support women in the workplace.
Importantly, these tools are not just about fixing a few things as work. Your team will learn why these tools work. Moreover, I completely demystify hypnosis and show you where hypnosis and mindfulness are similar and where they diverge. This makes them accessible and easy to use.
Reassuringly, the evidence base around hypnosis is growing. Changes occur in the brain when you use hypnosis amplifying positive intentions. When this happens, you can influence how you experience life, and how you act in certain situations.
What type of corporate well-being can you offer?
I’m not going to go all Maslow’s Hierarchy on you. My approach is “this is how it works, this is why, and this is what you can do about it”.
I offer short corporate well-being sessions with maximum impact, through to sustainable organisational change.
- A Healthy Bite. Lunchtime sessions lasting just an hour. They can be anything from learning about the use of mindfulness and self-hypnosis for well-being, through to understanding menopause in the workplace.
- The Glow and Grow. Working with your team I can craft a series of sessions on a particular topic. This may be menopause, supporting new parents in the workplace through to practical mindset tools for negotiation.
- The Deep Dive. This is sustainable well-being, woven into the fabric of your organisation. I work in consultation with Dr. Cherry Buckwell, an academic and an interpersonal communications expert with a doctorate in well-being and organisational change. Together, we can create a unique programme that can change the heart of your organisation.
Hypnobirthing Teacher Training
I teach an RCM accredited training course, running just two live private training weekends a year and in-house. I do all the training myself, so I have a limited number of teams I teach each year. If you are interested please get in touch. I have trained peri-natal mental health teams and midwives in an NHS setting.
Your confidence in teaching hypnosis techniques is essential. The people you teach will pick up on how much you believe in the tools, and this will influence how they engage with them. The power of suggestion starts working from the minute they come into contact with your teaching.
Knowing that you have mastered the techniques you will be teaching is paramount to running a great hypnobirthing class and giving the best possible experience to those learning from you. I never teach ‘train the trainer’ groups of more than 10 and I encourage interaction so that you can feel confident using the tools.
